Update — SPACE ID is another step closer to the airdrop!
If you are not familiar with Space ID, there are good reasons for you to look into it now before it’s too late. It will probably be the biggest airdrop across all chains in the near future!
For those who are not familar — Space ID is a decentralized identity (DID) project invested by Binance Lab. It has a very ambitious goal to be the number one DID that can be used across all the apps, assets, and everything in the blockchain world. It is like a ENS domain name, but is extended to all blockchains and dapps with added functionalities.
The BIG news just announced
Yesterday, Space ID announced that it has reached a collaboration with BscScan (the official Blockchain explorer for the BSC chain, the second largest blockchain just after Ethereum). Integration of Space ID into BscScan will happen in the next few weeks.
This is really big becaue BscScan, or the BSC chain itself, is controlled by Binance. The collaboration with BscScan indicated a very strong endorsement from Binance on Space ID. It also indicate that.. something may be coming soon!
Right after the announcement, Space ID immediately jumped and became the one of the top 10 projects on Opensea.. It explained the significace of this news.
If you have not get youself prepared for the upcoming Space ID airdrop, you may want to do it as soon as possible by getting yourself a BNB domain.
Update (21 Mar 2023) — Space ID has already announced 1st round of airdrop. You can still get yourself qualified for 2nd round of airdrop by following the guide below.
Getting yourself prepared for the 2nd round of airdrop
Below is the step-by-step guide:
- Go to the official website and connect your wallet.
2. Then you will see a message about a Voyage Box, which contains the $ID token airdrop that you will be entitled in the 2nd round of airdrop. Click “Register” and proceed to registering a .bnb domain.
3. Search for a domain name that you like in this box. I would suggest for a domain name with 5 or more characters, as they are the cheapest.
4. Then you’ll see the search results. You can choose from a domain name ending in either .bnb / .arb / .eth. I would suggest for .arb because (i) the gas fee is cheaper; and (ii) it potenially qualify you for subsequent rounds of $ARB airdrops. The registration fee is $5/year.
5. After the registration, just come back to the official site when the 2nd round of airdrop is live (to be announced). At that point you’ll be able to see the amount of $ID tokens that you’re entitled to claim!
