[Binance-Invested] Space ID Airdrop is approaching — A major update
Space ID ia an ambitious decentralized identity (DID) project that seeks to create a single identity that you can use to connect virtually ALL the chains, dapps, assets, and everything in the blockchain. It was invested and had very close tie with Binace, and has integrated with BscScan.
I mentioned in my last post that Space ID airdrop may be immient, as the Space ID team has listed the Space ID token ($SID) on CoinMarketCap (another investment of Binance).
Yesterday (1 February), Space ID has announced a very important product update - something that the project team has described as “a next-gen revolutionary upgrade”. Below are the key update:
- Space ID is going multi-chain!
- Upgrading Web3 Name SDK & API for its100+ existing & future partners with a more comprehensive platform for integrating Web3 services into any application.
- Introducing One-stop Web3 Domain & Identity Platform that allows users to manage all aspects of the Space ID domain on a single platform
It showcased Binance’s ambition to expand Space ID as the number 1 DID in the whole crypto world! In the future, the .bnb domain can also be used in any blockchain, such as Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, and more.
From an airdrop perspective, the expanded utilities of Space ID domains has make any potential airdrops much more profitable.

Update (21 Mar 2023) — Space ID has already announced 1st round of airdrop. You can still get yourself qualified for 2nd round of airdrop by following the guide below.
Getting yourself prepared for the 2nd round of airdrop
Below is the step-by-step guide:
- Go to the official website and connect your wallet.
2. Then you will see a message about a Voyage Box, which contains the $ID token airdrop that you will be entitled in the 2nd round of airdrop. Click “Register” and proceed to registering a .bnb domain.
3. Search for a domain name that you like in this box. I would suggest for a domain name with 5 or more characters, as they are the cheapest.
4. Then you’ll see the search results. You can choose from a domain name ending in either .bnb / .arb / .eth. I would suggest for .arb because (i) the gas fee is cheaper; and (ii) it potenially qualify you for subsequent rounds of $ARB airdrops. The registration fee is $5/year.
5. After the registration, just come back to the official site when the 2nd round of airdrop is live (to be announced). At that point you’ll be able to see the amount of $ID tokens that you’re entitled to claim!
